Joy and the Wildfire is a New York City-based band led by singer-songwriter Samantha Joy Pearlman, known for their raw emotion, storytelling and rock energy, with a distinct sound blending theatricality and cathartic rock. Their debut album Aftershocks explores themes of love, loss, self-discovery and the emotional aftershocks of change. With influences ranging from The Talking Heads to Paramore, the album takes listeners on a sonic journey that is both “deeply introspective and sonically explosive.”
