Craig Thatcher is a band leader, international clinician and ambassador for C.F. Martin & Co., guitar instructor and recording artist. Inspired to play guitar after seeing The Beatles in 1964, he formed his first band in 1966. Musical influences evolved from British Invasion bands to blues and rock icons like Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix. Thatcher's music spans genres including folk, funk, jazz, blues and rock, and he is also known for his solo acoustic fingerstyle country blues. Thatcher has performed across the U.S. and in over 35 countries, often representing Martin Guitar.
