Sierra Green, a soulful singer from New Orleans’ 7th Ward, began in the church choir and refined her craft busking on Frenchman Street. She later formed Sierra Green and the Giants during a popular local residency. The band recorded The Torch Sessions EP with producer David Torkanowsky, featuring powerful tracks like a standout cover of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good,” highlighting Sierra’s unique style and vocal range.
